David King, up in Albany, has a point and makes it well in this piece in the upstate weekly Metroland. The point: satellite radio's hot because it's got fresh content. And you guys are still sitting around thinking you're "compelling" because everything's stamped RESEARCHED. And promoting satellite with stupid NAB attack ads. Smart move. Meanwhile, more real radio fans are scraping up $12.00 every month.
There are little glimmers that some radio people are moving a few inches beyond denial. Not fast enough. It's the programming, stupid.
There is no heavier burden than a great potential.
