NAB Radio Show 2005; determination or denial?

So, the radio guys talked to themselves in Philadelphia last week. Judging from the radio trades I've been scanning this morning, you could miss the point completely or take an icy swim in reality, your choice. The trades mostly missed the prophesies and calls to action, or they didn't want to ruffle feathers. Only BillboardRadioMonitor seems to have covered fire/brimstone and self-back-slapping equally. Browse their competent "full coverage" package. Also, look right here for Bill Figenshu's comment on my last post. It was apparently still possible to go home fat, dumb, hung-over and happy from this year's Radio Show.

I guess "Satellite Radio," "Ipod," "Web Radio," "Flat Revenues," and other topics have been insufficently researched, to date. Maybe we should do some focus groups. Or how about call-outs. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Or do nothing. First complain, "it too expensive" "it's not right for my group" Then ignore. Hope your employment agreement goes out far enough till the pension kicks in!
